Mississippi Power has partnered with Samsung SmartThings to bring you a new pilot program called Smart@Home. Smart@Home is designed to make your life easier and help you better manage your energy usage.
The program gives participants the ability to control and set up energy savings settings for their smart home devices through the SmartThings app. When demand on the electric grid is high, Mississippi Power will call a Smart@Home event and enrolled devices will be automatically adjusted to their ‘energy savings’ mode.
All participants will receive a new smart plug and smart lightbulb. Space is limited.

Learn how small changes around your home can lead to energy and money savings.
Set it and forget it. We'll teach you how to set up your device(s) on the SmartThings app and create your own 'energy savings' mode settings that you are comfortable with.
You can always adjust your settings if you ever become uncomfortable during an event.
You don't need to own Samsung appliances or any smart home devices to join the pilot.
There are no fees associated with your Smart Home Kit or the Smart@Home pilot.
You don't need to be a smart home expert! We have tutorials and a support line to help you throughout the pilot.
How to Participate in
Click the button below to sign up today! Mississippi Power will send you an email confirmation informing you that we've received your information. We'll then send you another email letting you know you've been accepted into the Smart@Home pilot program.* The email will include information on downloading the SmartThings app as well as how to obtain your new Smart Home Kit.
